Ms. Reyes: 4th DLE Reading/Writing

Ms. Nancy Reyes is a 4th Grade DLE teacher. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. Even though she lives in Alvarado, Texas, she truly enjoys teaching here at Cesar Chavez and enjoying her new baby. 

Ms. Casas: 4th DLE Sci/Math

My name is Sendy Casas.  I graduated from the University of North Texas.  My passion is to help students recognize their potential.  This is my 14th year teaching at Cesar Chavez Elementary.  I also coach 5th grade volleyball in the spring. 

Ms. Smith: 4th RP Reading

 I am Mrs. Smith, I have been in education for 4 years now. I was in a charter district for the past 3 years, 1 year in kindergarten, 2 years in 4th grade. I went to Loyola Chicago for my undergraduate and got my master's at Johns Hopkin University in education. 

Ms. Roloff: 4th RP Math

I received my bachelor's degree in 1990 from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.  I received my master's degree in Linguistics/ESL in 2015 at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.  I started my teaching career in 1991.  Along with being a classroom teacher, I have also been an Instructional Specialist in math and reading as well as a reading Interventionist.

I have been married for 35 years, and we have 5 children.  We adopted 2 our children from Serbia.  One of our adopted sons has Down Syndrome.  We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats.  Life is busy and fun for us!

Cesar Chavez Elementary School is a wonderful campus in a great community.  I am honored to serve the children here.
